Fair Use Policy
Fair Use Policy
Effective April 2025
This Fair Use Policy is incorporated by reference into the SimpleVox Terms of Service and applies to all users of the SimpleVox platform.
Introduction
SimpleVox is built for local service professionals — real people having real conversations with their customers. We provide tools that make your communications smarter, faster, and more reliable. To keep the experience safe and fair for everyone, we’ve established a few rules about how the platform can be used.
This policy helps protect our users, ensure compliance with telecom regulations (like 10DLC), and prevent misuse of our systems.
We reserve the right to review your usage, place limits, or suspend your access if we reasonably believe your activity:
- Violates this policy,
- Is inconsistent with fair, human-to-human business use, or
- Disrupts the quality of service for others.
Whenever possible, we’ll notify you before taking any enforcement action and give you the opportunity to adjust your usage.
Acceptable Use Guidelines
You may not use SimpleVox to:
- Send or facilitate messages that are:
- Obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or defamatory
- Fraudulent, including impersonation or deceptive schemes (e.g., phishing, scam offers, false caller identities)
- Related to illegal activity, including messages promoting violence, discrimination, or harm to individuals or groups
- Transmit or promote:
- Unsolicited or bulk messages, including cold-texting or autodialing without proper opt-in
- Cannabis, CBD, tobacco, vape, alcohol, or paraphernalia
- Prescription medications or other regulated health products
- Gambling, lotteries, or sweepstakes
- Sexual content or adult services
- Firearms, explosives, or fireworks
- Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid programs, or high-risk financial services
- Debt relief, credit repair, or loan solicitation without proper authorization
- Use AI features (e.g., auto-generated greetings or voicemails) to:
- Deceive, impersonate, or mislead recipients
- Bypass legal consent requirements or impersonate another individual or business
- Generate content that violates this Fair Use Policy
Usage Limits
SimpleVox offers flexible plans designed for typical small business use. We do not charge per minute or per message in most cases — but our services are not unlimited in a literal or unrestricted sense.
Your usage should reflect normal human-to-human interaction in a small business context. Excessive call volumes, automation-based calling/messaging, or behavior that resembles spam or bot-like activity may result in limits, additional charges, or account suspension.
We do not permit:
- Use of multiple accounts to bypass plan limits
- Creation of demo/test accounts for commercial reselling
- Use of SimpleVox for agency or SaaS resale purposes
Enforcement
We review usage patterns and may take enforcement action if we believe your activity violates this policy. When appropriate, we will provide notice and work with you to resolve the issue before suspending services.
