Plans and billing

SimpleVox has 3 plans. Solo is for one person. Pro and Boost are for teams and priced per person. You can pay monthly or yearly.

There’s no free trial. Instead, every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Plan Monthly Yearly Numbers included
Solo $19 a month $190 a year 1
Pro $29 per person a month $290 per person a year 1 per person
Boost $39 per person a month $390 per person a year 1 per person

A yearly plan costs the same as 10 months. Prices are in US dollars. See pricing for the full comparison.

  • 1 phone number included (1 for each person on Pro and Boost)
  • Calls, voicemail and texts in one inbox
  • Call recording and transcripts
  • AI summaries linked to the call
  • Greetings, business hours and call flows
  • Spam likely labels on incoming calls
  • Mobile and web apps
  • Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and other AI tools, with a monthly allowance of texts and calls they can make. See AI tool and API usage.

For one person and one number. Solo is for owner-operators who run the business number themselves. It has 1 user and includes 1 number.

If you start taking on help, the billing owner can upgrade to Pro. See Change or cancel your plan.

One shared inbox for everyone who answers. Pro adds the team features:

  • Invite your team and choose who sees each number
  • Shared Open, Unread and Done status
  • Ring everyone at once, in order or round robin

Pro is priced per person, and each person comes with 1 number. See Invite your team.

For teams that automate, with priority support. Boost includes everything in Pro, plus:

  • Spam screening rules that send likely spam to voicemail before anyone’s phone rings. See Spam call protection.
  • Texts, calls and contact edits through the API, for custom integrations and automations. See Send texts, Start calls and Contacts API.
  • Priority email and chat support.
  • Live phone support.

Like Pro, Boost is priced per person, and each person comes with 1 number.

On Pro and Boost, you pay for each person in your workspace. In the app, each paid place on your plan is called a seat. Each person uses one, and so does each invitation that hasn’t been accepted yet. A new Pro or Boost plan starts with 1 seat, for you. You can have up to 100.

  • Adding seats. When you invite more people than you have open seats, the billing owner can add seats right there. They see the amount due today, prorated to your renewal date, and choose Confirm and pay.
  • Removing someone frees their seat. It stays on your plan until your next renewal, so you can invite someone in their place without paying more. There’s no refund for the current period.
  • Seats nobody is using are dropped just before your plan renews, so you stop paying for them from then on.

Settings → Team shows how many seats are in use and how many are open.

Each plan includes numbers: 1 on Solo, and 1 for each person on Pro and Boost. If you need more, for a second location or a campaign, you can add extra numbers on any plan.

  • An extra number costs $5 a month, or $60 a year on yearly plans. It’s billed on the same plan and renews on the same date.
  • When every included number is in use, the billing owner can buy an extra one from the same screen you use to add a number. They’re charged right away for the rest of the current billing period. If the purchase fails, there’s no charge.
  • Deleting a number you no longer need drops it from your next charge. There’s no refund for the current period.

See Choose a number.

Texts that your AI tools send and calls they set up come out of a monthly allowance. On Boost, so do texts and calls from your API integrations.

Plan Texts Calls
Solo 50 segments a month 50 a month
Pro 50 segments a month per person 100 a month per person
Boost 500 segments a month per person 150 a month per person
  • Shared by your workspace. On Pro and Boost, the allowance is per person and pooled. A Pro workspace with 3 people has 150 text segments and 300 calls a month for everyone’s AI tools.
  • Resets each billing month, on monthly and yearly plans.
  • Texts count in segments. A text of up to 160 characters is one segment. Longer texts, and texts with emoji or other special characters, use more than one.
  • What counts. Texts sent with send_text or POST /v1/messages, and calls set up with start_call or POST /v1/assisted-calls. Calls and texts your team makes in SimpleVox don’t count, and neither does reading your history.
  • Past the allowance, you need credits. The billing owner buys credits in Settings → Plan & billing. Without credits, your AI tools and integrations can’t send more texts or set up more calls until the allowance resets.

The person who created the workspace is its billing owner. On the Team page they’re shown as Owner. Only the billing owner can:

  • see Plan & billing, choose or upgrade the plan, and open Manage billing
  • see invoices and the card on file
  • add seats and extra numbers
  • pay for and submit texting registration in the Trust Center
  • buy credits for AI tool and API texts and calls past the monthly allowance

Admins manage people and numbers, but they can’t see or change billing. To hand billing ownership to someone else, email support@simplevox.net and we’ll move it for you.

The billing owner finds Plan & billing in Settings, or in the menu under their name. It shows:

Plan & billing showing an active Pro plan with seats, phone numbers in use and the next charge

  • your plan, with Active, Ending or Payment failed, or Registered if the workspace hasn’t chosen a plan yet
  • seats and phone numbers in use, with links to manage them
  • your next charge and its date, broken down into seats and extra numbers
  • your card, with Update
  • recent invoices, each with a link to view it or download a PDF

Manage billing opens a secure billing page from Stripe, our payment processor, where you can update your card, see invoices, and cancel or resume your plan. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by SimpleVox.

If a payment doesn’t go through, Plan & billing shows Payment failed. Your service keeps running while the payment is retried. Update your card from Plan & billing to fix it. If payment fails for good, your plan is cancelled and your numbers are held for 14 days before they’re released. See Change or cancel your plan.

Set up your number, bring your team and run real calls through it. If SimpleVox isn’t right for your business in the first 30 days, we’ll refund you in full. For anything else about refunds, see our billing and refund policy.

For anything about your bill, email support@simplevox.net.
